One of our newer customers Don Bennett sent in a
great tick counter for TradeStation users. The tick counter appears
on the lower righ and side of your chart near the X/Y intersection.
Notice that the Tick counter is Dark Brown through out but Yellow on
that last bar. When opening the eld file once it's been imported, it
may show the original file name of "vol233". When setting the
parameters for the file go to Input, then Thresh. On a 150 tick
chart I set that number at 80% of the 150 value or 120. The bar
paints yellow until the counter gets to the 120 level...then turns
dark brown. When using the counter for Tick charts so that the bars
remain equal in size all the way through, you must go to Format
Symbol and change the For Volume Use to Tick count. For Volume
Charts go to Format Symbol and change the For Volume Use to Trade
Volume.
